Chicago Children’s Theatre announced its lineup of summer and fall productions for children ages 0-6. The theater company will be presenting two shows in person and one show virtually to accommodate families with young children.
The summer production titled “How to Build a Rainbow” is a virtual show that follows the story of Sam, a young girl who learns to solve problems creatively while building a rainbow. The fall production, “A Snowy Day with Beatrix Potter,” will be presented in person and will feature beloved characters from Potter’s classic stories.
“We are excited to bring engaging and interactive performances to young children and their families,” said Jacqueline Russell, Artistic Director of Chicago Children’s Theatre. “Our goal is to inspire imagination and creativity in our youngest audience members.”
The theater company will also be offering educational workshops and activities in conjunction with the productions to further enhance the experience for children. Tickets for the shows will be available for purchase soon on the Chicago Children’s Theatre website.
