WPAS ‘Together in Art and Community’ Nets $600K

WPAS, the Washington Performing Arts Society, successfully held its recent fundraising event titled ‘Together in Art and Community’, which raised an impressive $600,000. Supporters of the arts from all over the Washington, D.C. area came together to contribute to this noble cause.

The event took place at The Anthem in the District Wharf, where attendees enjoyed performances by artists such as violinist Joshua Bell and singer-songwriter Ledisi. In addition to the outstanding live entertainment, guests were able to participate in a silent auction featuring various artworks and experiences.

The funds raised will go towards supporting WPAS’s mission of bringing arts and culture to the community. Through their programs and events, WPAS aims to enrich the lives of people in the D.C. area and foster a deeper appreciation for the arts.
